From the Superintendent

Welcome to District 84!

As the superintendent of Franklin Park School District 84, I am fortunate and extremely proud not only to serve in a school district that places significant value on the growth and achievement of every individual child, but also of the fact that I am joined in this endeavor by such a dedicated and talented team of educators and support personnel, in addition to a Board of Education and community that greatly value and support the education of its children.

The mission of Franklin Park School District 84 is to provide all our children a quality education within a safe and nurturing environment that motivates them to be lifelong learners and morally responsible citizens. Our four outstanding schools - North, Pietrini, Passow, and Hester - reflect the values and beliefs of the Franklin Park community that are outlined in this mission statement. They are staffed by excellent teaching and support personnel who, on a daily basis, apply their creative talents to ensure all of our students, regardless of circumstance, are appropriately challenged, supported, and motivated to achieve academic success. Through the lifelong application of the academic, technical, and social skills obtained throughout the course of their experience in District 84, our students will be more than prepared for a successful and productive future - whether that includes college, a career, or both. We are grateful for the parents and community partners who assist us with this mission every single day.
