Welcome! Over 1,300 children are enrolled in three K-5 elementary schools and one 6-8 junior high school. The district offers its students a comprehensive educational program to encourage their optimal mental, physical, and social development.

Mission Statement The mission of Franklin Park School District 84 is to provide all our children a quality education within a safe and nurturing environment which motivates them to be lifelong learners and morally responsible citizens.
Community Franklin Park School District 84 is located in west suburban Cook County approximately 15 miles northwest of downtown Chicago and five miles south of Chicago's O'Hare Airport. The district serves parts of the communities of Franklin Park and Melrose Park. The community, the schools, and the home share the responsibility for the development of our children. A particularly strong PTA works as a district wide organization.
Our Staff Franklin Park School District 84 employs over one hundred teachers, six administrators, and fifty educational support personnel. Teachers are members of the American Federation of Teachers, Franklin Park Council 571.
